JETCO: Jewish Education Tax Credit Organization (formerly Cheder)

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2011 JETCO campaign!

You have helped ensure the future of Jewish education in Tucson!

It is not too late to contribute to the 2011 Jetco campaign! The deadline has been extended to April 15, 2012. Please make your contribution today and help to give the gift of education.

Give them a quality education. Get every dollar back in reduced taxes.

The State of Arizona has given YOU the power to reallocate your tax dollars. Please use this power to direct those dollars to CHEDER: Jewish Education Tax Credit Organization (JETCO). Since 1999, JETCO has given almost $3 million dollars in scholarships to children in financial need at Tucson Hebrew Academy and Congregation Anshei Israel Esther B. Feldman Kindergarten.

OUR CHILDREN NEED YOU - YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!

AND IT DOESN'T COST YOU ANYTHING! Every dollar you give to JETCO will reduce your tax liability by the same amount - up to the maximum allowed by law - when you file your state income tax return. If you contribute more than the state taxes you owe, you can still carry over the difference as a tax credit for up to five years.

Current state law allows a married couple filing jointly to make a contribution of up to $1,000 and individual taxpayers up to $500. When you contribute to JETCO, you will receive a receipt letter to claim your tax credit using Form 323 when you file your Arizona state income taxes. Please consult with your tax consultant for the exact details of the program and how it applies to you.

We have both monthly payments and no-interest loans available to help make giving the gift of education even easier! You may also earn public school and working poor tax credits for up to $400 per couple or $200 per individual for each. Click Here for Arizona Department of Revenue tax credit information.
